Chicken Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients/Supplies

Chicken Alfredo 2 Boneless/skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 bunch fresh cilantro or parsley
1 lb. linguini dry pasta
1 jar prepared Alfredo Sauce
1/4 cup & 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Skillet
Pot for boiling pasta
Strainer
Spatula/Wooden spoon

Instructions

Step 1 Chop parsley. Start boiling water for the pasta (add 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt to the water).
Step 2 Slice Chicken into bite size pieces.
Step 3 Place pan on stovetop burner at medium high temperature with the 1/4 cup olive oil. Add your onions and mushrooms. Sautee for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
Step 4Add the chicken to the pan. Stir chicken and veggies for about 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
Step 5 Add the alfredo sauceand parsley to the chicken and vegetable mixture. Reduce heat and simmer.
Cook your pasta according to the box directions.
Step 6
Drain the pasta and place on plate. Pour the chicken alfredo sauce and garnish with a little parsley.
