Chicken Pasta Alfredo
Ingredients/Supplies

2 Boneless/skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 bunch fresh cilantro or parsley
1 lb. linguini dry pasta
1 jar prepared Alfredo Sauce
1/4 cup & 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Skillet
Pot for boiling pasta
Strainer
Spatula/Wooden spoon
Instructions

Chop parsley. Start boiling water for the pasta (add 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt to the water).

Slice Chicken into bite size pieces.

Place pan on stovetop burner at medium high temperature with the 1/4 cup olive oil. Add your onions and mushrooms. Sautee for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.

Add the chicken to the pan. Stir chicken and veggies for about 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked.

Add the alfredo sauceand parsley to the chicken and vegetable mixture. Reduce heat and simmer.
Cook your pasta according to the box directions.

Drain the pasta and place on plate. Pour the chicken alfredo sauce and garnish with a little parsley.
