Cheeseburger Fries Casserole
Do I honestly have to give you a description of this work of God? Perfect “fill-you-up” food. You can serve many people and they will love you for it. Tons of cheese, fries, meat and awesomeness. Just make it fellas.
*As usual…load on ingredients as you feel fit. You really can’t mess this up guys.
Ingredients/Supplies
2 Medium Russet or Yukon Gold Potatoes
or 3 – 4 Red Potatoes, washed
1 pound Ground Beef (85/15 Lean/Fat Ratio)
4 slices American Cheese
1/2 cup diced Yellow Onion
1/4 cup diced Dill Pickle or Dill Pickle Relish
2 tbsp Ketchup
2 tbsp Prepared Yellow Mustard
1/4 tsp Salt
Pinch Ground Black Pepper
Microwave Safe Dish (with lid or plastic wrap)
Cutting Board, Knife
Instructions
Blend together diced onion and pickle. Spread evenly across bottom of microwave safe dish.
Crumble beef evenly over onion and pickle. Season with salt and pepper.
Blend mustard and ketchup together (or leave separate if desired) and drizzle evenly across beef.
Cover with cheese.
Cut potatoes into French fry sized sticks and spread evenly across cheese.
Tightly cover with lid or plastic wrap and place in microwave. Microwave on HIGH for 15 minutes* or until potatoes and beef are done. Let sit for two minutes. Use oven mitts to carefully remove from microwave.
CAUTION: Due to steam build-up, use oven mitts or tongs to remove plastic wrap from dish.
