Salmon in a Bag
Would you ever believe that you could make a geat salmon fillet in a microwave? I didn’t think so. This meal is so easy that all you do is load all your ingredients into a BAG! Four minutes Just make it….you will not regret it.
*You can substitute a bunch of shrimp for the salmon. Now you can say you know how to make seafood my friends.
Ingredients/Supplies
1 Salmon Filet
Fresh Parsley
A variety of small vegetables
such as Broccoli, Asparagus, Green beans
1 Lemon
1/4 tsp Salt
Pinch Ground Black Pepper
White Wine
Microwave Safe Bag such as Ziploc Steamer
Cutting Board
Knife
Instructions
Take your vegetables and cut them up into serving size pieces. Pull parsley stems off and chop into small leafs.
Squeeze a half of lemon over the salmon filet and season to taste.
Place the salmon fillet into the steamer bag or microwave safe plastic bag and add a small handful of the vegetable.
Add just a splash of white wine. Seal the bag, if it is not a steamer bag be sure to leave a corner of the bag open for the steam to escape.
Microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes* or until salmon is done. Let sit for two minutes. Use oven mitts to carefully remove from microwave.
Drain the liquid from the bag. Remove contents from bag and arrange on plate. CAUTION: Due to steam build-up, use oven mitts or tongs to remove bag from microwave.
